This year was one of those rare vintages, where both the
reds and the whites are exciting. The white blends have
been made and are presently being bottled. The sound of
the bottling line running at 3000 bottles an hour on a
daily basis permeates through the cellar, reminding us
of how many people enjoy our product. We trust you will
be equally excited with the result.
Jeff and Pascal were in France in May to take care
of the red wine blending with Raphael, our winemaker
at Domaine Grier. The individual components were
good but when they began blending, the excitement in
the room was tangible. It is sometimes felt that a
blend is better than the parts that go into it
(whether it be different blocks of the same varietal
or two or more different varietals blended together)
and it was true in this case. While they were there,
they visited a few clients around Perpignan and
along the Mediterranean coast.

Bastille Day
|
Once again we are celebrating Bastille Day in July.
It provides an opportunity for us to show you our Domaine Grier range and this year we have something
special lined up.
We are inviting you to join us for a 6 course menu,
carefully selected and prepared by Chef, Marc Wassung, from "Sing for your Supper".
Each course
will be paired up with Domaine Grier wines from
Villiera's vineyard in the South of France. Monica
Voysey, Mezzo - Soprano Opera Singer will be
performing and will transport you to another world,
combining Opera, food and wine.
Our new
flagship red called Olympus will also be served.

are holding a food and wine event up North which
will allow an opportunity to reacquaint yourselves
with our wines and the people behind the wines.
